CAS, Creativity – Car photography

I've continued working with photography over the past weeks, and continue to develop my skills. The photo below shows something I captured   (my car’s headlight). To capture it like this, I had to set the exposure to the minimum so I could see the details of the lights. I hadn't done this before but realize it could produce cool effects. This connects to LO1, as I have continued to develop my skills with the telephone camera, but still have room to grow when I get a traditional camera, which I hope to soon.  

SnapStream: Completing the Leads

Today was very similar to my last session, once again. I am enjoying the skills I am learning in finding these leads and helping to make contact with them. After searching through leads extensively, I seemed to have hit a dead end on what I could access. Without personal connections on LinkedIn I couldn't access everyone's profiles, and there are only so many people that fit the descriptions of what we were looking for. There isn't much more to reflect on today, but for next session, I will be transitioning a bit towards the advertising area (or perhaps into the technical business side) of SnapStream.

SnapStream: Finding Leads pt. 2

I was unable to attend my internship due to SnapStream's halloween celebration and my four-day school schedule last week, but today I continued with my lead finding on LinkedIn. This day was relatively similar to my last session at SnapStream, but I uncovered many of LinkedIn's tools that will be very useful to me. Creating an account and knowing how to utilize the system will be important for my career in the future. Back to the lead finding. I began more specific searches for talent agencies that were medium sized (around 100 employees and higher) and copied down their contact information, the organizations they were with, and what positions they held. It was very interesting to see various people's entire careers and qualifications leading up to where they are now. SnapStream did have previous and current clients that are larger and medium sized talent agencies, so I had to be sure to avoid putting new contacts from those organizations.
