CAS, Activity, Activity with Physical Challenges
On my school trip recently, we had some physical activities, like captured mattress. This is like capture the flag, but with the mattress. It was very hot outside and I ran pretty hard for a a while. I was exhausted, but still chasing people. I reached one person, and my finger got stuck in the side of their shirt. I couldn't keep up with them because I was so tired, they twisted away, and my fingers snapped in the opposite direction. I looks down and my finger was facing the wrong way. This was shocking, and I was exhausted. Immediately, some friends came to assist me. They could see you that I was struggling and in pain, and needed to lay down just from the exhaustion and shock. This has a unique connection to LO5, as we have been working as a team the whole time to win the game, but we continue even afterwards when I was in need of help. Not everyone came to help me, but this demonstrated important an important aspect of teamwork. You have to care for your teammates all the time, even when not working directly to the goal.
